President's Message

Dear AMET members:

I am so excited to welcome you to the AMET website. Please take time to review the many resources available from the local, state, and national levels. In addition, get the latest information as well as know what is going on in the world of migrant education.

In addition to the state and national links, there are student and college resources and financial aid and testing information. The events resource tab will highlight conference information as well as the latest professional development offerings through the AMET organization. Furthermore, you will see the awards available for migrant staff as well as the student art contest. Check out the winning artwork!

I encourage you to follow AMET on social media to find out the latest information and to stay up to date on the latest developments for our conferences, professional development, and scholarships.

Finally, if you have questions, your AMET Executive Council and Regional Directors are easily accessible. You may find their individual contact information listed under the About AMET resource tab. The officers of this organization are a group of amazing people who have a passion for the migrant education programs across the state.  You can be sure that we are listening to your voice and advocating for our migratory children.

Stay in touch with us, stay safe, and remember we are here to help you in any way that we can.
