Conference General Information

 

Some dates and times listed below can be subject to minor change, please refer back to this page for any updates.

Conference Staff

Conference staff will be located at the registration desk. AMET Officers and Directors have nametags and red shirts for easy identification and are readily available to provide guidance. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.    

 

Check-in and Registration

The Conference Check-in and Registration area is located in the ballroom foyer area of the Embassy Suites Hotel – San Marcos. Pre-Registered/PAID attendees will check-in at the PAID table in the Veramendi Ballroom lobby area to receive their badge and conference materials.  Pre-Registered/NOT PAID attendees will check-in at the  NOT-PAID registration table in the Veramendi Ballroom lobby to make payment and receive their badge and conference materials.  Members who did not pre-register online, will register at a designated table in the Veramendi Ballroom lobby.  If you haven’t submitted an online registration, you can complete the online registration form here.  

 

Pre-Registered Conference Check-in and On-Site Conference Registration hours will be as follows: 
Tuesday, November 15               5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday, November 16         7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday, November 17             7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Message Center

For your convenience, a Message Center will be set up next to the registration area.  Be sure to check the message board for anticipated communications.  

 

Conference Badge

Wear your name badge and display it throughout the conference. This badge is your ticket for admission to all conference events including all conference sessions and social events; it also serves as your official AMET Membership Card that is the ticket to vote for the new AMET Officers. 

 

Food and Beverage (some details subject to minor change)

As part of the conference registration fee, several activities are scheduled that feature a beverage and/or light refreshments. These are as follows:                                       

 

Exhibitor Reception

Wednesday, November 16

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM (light food and beverages) 

 

Coffee and Snacks

Coffee and/or snacks will be provided during opening registration and during most breaks during the conference

 

Breakfast

If you are staying as a guest at one of the conference hotels, breakfast is provided each morning usually between 6:00am-9:00am but please check with your specific hotel to check hours breakfast is served.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of the free breakfast provided by the conference hotels.

Commercial Exhibits 

Commercial exhibits are located onsite. The centrally located exhibits will make it convenient for you to visit often. Please show them our appreciation for their contribution to the success of this event.

Wednesday, November 16, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday, November 17, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

 

Online Evaluations

A conference evaluation form is provided thru email invitation or online at www.ametx.org. Upon submission of your evaluation, you will receive a link that allows you to print your Certificate of Attendance. The link will only be available upon evaluation completion. Please print a copy of your certificate.
