2009 Migrant State Conference
General Information

Conference Staff
Conference staff will be located at the registration desk.  AMET/Officers/Directors have nametags and red shirts for easy identification and will be readily available to assist.  Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.   

Registration
The Conference Registration Area is located in the foyer of the American Bank Convention Center.  On-site registration is also available at this location.  

Registration hours are as follows:
Wednesday, November 11, 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Thursday, November 12, 7:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Message Center
For your convenience, a Message Center has been established next to the Registration Desk.  Be sure to check the message board for anticipated communications.   

Wear Your Badge
Wear your name badge and display it throughout the Conference.  Your name badge
is your ticket of admission to all conference events.  This includes all Conference sessions and social events. Your name badge is also your official AMET Membership Card which serves as your ticket to vote for the new AMET Officers.  Furthermore, by wearing your badge, you will be able to match the name with the person and also make new acquaintances.  Naturally, your own name badge is the most dependable means of letting colleagues know who you are. 

Meals
As part of the conference registration fee, several activities are scheduled that feature
a meal or light refreshments. These are as follows:                     

Wednesday, November 11
12:00 P.M. - 1:30 P.M.  Pre-Conference Luncheon (Academy Participants Only)   
7:45 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Conference Reception
Thursday, November  12
8:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.  Conference Social 
Friday, November 13 
12:00 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. Conference Luncheon 

Refreshments and hors-d’oeuvres will be served at each reception, and a complete
meal will be served at the luncheon. Your name badge is required for admission. 
(If you wish to bring a guest to the luncheon, tickets may be purchased at the Registration Desk for $15.00)   

Continental Breakfast
Continental Breakfast will be provided during the morning of each day.   

Breaks
Beverages and snacks will be provided during breaks.     

Commercial Exhibits
Commercial exhibits are located in Ballroom A of the Convention Center.  Centrally located exhibits will make it convenient for you to visit often.  Please show them our appreciation for their contribution to the success of this event. 

Exhibit hours are as follows:
Wednesday, November 11, 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Thursday, November 12, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.


Evaluations
A Conference Evaluation Form is included in your Registration Packet. 
Please complete and submit it at the end of the Closing General Session. 
Conference staff will be there to collect them.
